Dear Rosario:
Okay, it\'s time for me to add more words to the 30+ years of praise we have for your King Umberto Ristorante. We\'ve celebrated baptisms, confirmations, milestone birthdays, holidays, and found comfort at sadder occasions as well.

Accompanying the intoxicating mouth-watering aroma seeping from the kitchen is the perfect people skills of your wait staff. Somehow and somewhere they must have gone to a charm-school for lessons. Excellent menus alone don\'t necessarily make a restaurant great. The wait staff\'s attitude fills the room just as strongly as the aroma of the food. Rosario, the quality of the meals touches the physical; the quality of the personality is much deeper, much more profound and touches the spirit.

June 30, we came to a dinner party at Villa Umberto. What I have written above applies also to Villa Umberto. There is, however one very big difference: we were very fortunate to have Alexsandro and Renato assigned to us. These two young men have the gift of friendliness along with their professional people skills - qualities that are found in most seasoned workers in the most famous A-one restaurants. These qualities are not learned, they come from deep down inside. Your food and your staff cannot be more perfect than perfection itself.

John, bless his soul, is a wise man in a young body. His eyes are in every room at the same time - he doesn\'t miss a beat. To me, John, Alexsandro and Renato are signs that their generation will bring back to life what was lost and forgotten by ours. God bless them, You, The King, and The King\'s Villa.

We always enjoy the cordial welcome, exceptional menu, and excellent service at King Umbertos. Great food, fine wines and smiling faces... Theirs and ours. Our favorite restaurant on all of Long Island.

Dear Staff & Management:
On Sunday, March 13, 2011, we held a 90th birthday party for my father, Guy Pennisi, at your establishment. The manager Franco, and the waiters and staff were very accomodating and professional. The food and service was fabulous! All of our guests complimented the chef for the excellent cuisine and the friendly, warm atmosphere that was provided to us by your staff.
Our family has been your faithful customers for many years. We are very happy that we chose your restaurant for this memorable occasion. We can't thank you enough for helping to make my father's special day a rousing success.
We will continue to highly recommend King Umberto restaurant to all of our friends and relatives. Your reputation for great food and professional, friendly service is known throughout our community. You are truly a neighborhood restaurant that cares about your customers. On behalf of my entire family, thank you for helping us to celebrate our dad's 90th birthday!

Dear Franco, The christening dinner (our second by the way) that you arranged for our family was a delight. Please thank the wait staff for their undivided attention to all our needs. Of course the food was exceptional.

My girlfriend and I celebrated my birthday at King Umberto ( Jan.3,2011). Franco welcomed us as family and our waiter Joseph was excellent as he insisted we wait for our wine to breathe before tasting it.( It was excellent).
His recommendations of dishes and dessert were excellent. I can\'t wait to return !

I walked in with my wife not being in the best of moods. I walked out full and happy.
The staff are not only professional, they make you laugh.

Rosario & Franco thanks for another great meal. Celebrating special occasions with the King has become a family tradition.

Celebrating my birthday at King Umberto's will be a memory of all times. Right up there with marriage & childbirth a day you never forget.

We have been coming to King Umberto's for many years for many occasions. Each time the food has been top quality, the service was top notch and we recommend their pizza to everyone we meet. We won't settle for just any pizza, it has to be King Umberto of Elmont.
