Italy is becoming more and more respected and appreciated in the wine world for starting to produce other great reds from the rest of the Peninsula. Regions such as Sicily, Sardenia, Campania, Puglia and Umbria have a powerful impact on wine lovers.

There are approximately 2000 grape varieties in the world. More than 800 are grown in Italy alone. Furthermore although the noble varities of Italy remain Nebbiolo and Sangiovese there are other numerous styles to be appreciated from relatively unknown grapes. We have proudly selected a short list of wines not to be missed.
